The Orphan of Ellis Island

Dominic has a secret: he’s an orphan. when he goes to Ellis island for a class trip the tour guide asks about everyone emigrants. Not wanting people to know that he’s an orphan, he hides. When he wakes up the museum is closed. Lonely and frightened, he listens to display phones with recorded messages of people telling of how they got to America as an emigrant. Suddenly he is in Italy, 1908! He discovers who he really is while travelling to America with two other emigrants. Written by Isabella
